Peer Mentorship

Peer mentorship is a support system where senior students guide juniors, offering academic, social, and emotional support. At Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), the Faculty of Medicine promotes peer mentorship to help students navigate the challenges of university life.

Through peer mentorship, students gain academic guidance, emotional well-being, and cultural integration. Mentors simplify complex topics, share study strategies, and help with exam preparation, while also offering advice on career planning and professional development. For international or first-year students, mentors play a vital role in easing the transition into university culture and campus life.

By participating in mentorship programs, students form meaningful connections, build resilience, and develop essential skills. Peer mentorship fosters a collaborative and supportive community where students excel academically and personally. At EMU, mentorship embodies the values of cooperation and growth, ensuring every student thrives.
