2020 - 2021 Education Year Course Board and Internship Evaluation 

 

The feedback from our students was evaluated and the following decisions were made regarding the exams  in order to prioritize our students during the pandemic process, to ensure that their education is not interrupted and to create a healthy assessment. 

Course and internship evaluation exams planned to be held in Phase I and II periods  are as follows; It is decided to apply two separate exams on two separate dates. One exam will be taking place online and the other exam will be carried out at the faculty in a printed hard copy format. Students will be required to choose which exam to sit among their two options. 

 

1-The 2020-2021 academic year Y2C1 Committee Exam will be held on Monday, October 26 at 10:00, and the Y3C1 Committee Exam will be held on the same day at 14:00 as a multiple-choice online exam. 

 

Internal Medicine Internship evaluation theoretical exam will be applied as an online multiple-choice exam on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:00. In case the Covid-19 pandemic measures are terminated,  clinical practices and evaluations of second semester internal medicine will be conducted and the internship evaluation grades will be calculated by adding 50% of the theoretical exam and 50% of the practical evaluation. 

 

Access to exams will be made through the Corporate Education Management and Planning System (KEYPS). Each student will participate in the exam by logging into the system with their own username and password. 

 

  • The duration of the exam will be announced before the exam and each question will be given a solution time between 60-150 seconds. This will be considered  by taking into account its solution time required. 
  • The questions will be displayed one after the other for as long as the duration attained to them. There will be no option to return to the previous question. 
  • The exam connection IPs of the students will be recorded with logs and checked until the end of the exam. Students who will take the exam on the same IP must state their valid excuse no later than 24 hours before the exam. 

2 - The exams will be carried out at the faculty in a printed hard copy format in case the Covid-19 pandemic measures are terminated and formal education is initiated.  

  • Students who take the online exam will not have the right to participate in the written exam that will be held at the faculty after the start of formal education. 
  • Irregular students who have courses that must be passed in order to take courses from a higher grade are required to take the online exam in order not to extend their education period. 

3 - The petition of the students who took the online exam but had connectivity /technical problems and could not complete the exam will be evaluated in the relevant boards and the exam will be held at the faculty when they pass to formal education for those who are justified. 

4 – If formal education cannot be started due to pandemic conditions, exams will be re planned by evaluating and cosidering the conditions of the period.
