Eastern Mediterranean University Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Nahide Gökçora attended the National Medical Education Congress (UTEK 2018) and Medical Deans Council Meeting held in Izmir, Ege University Medical Faculty Muhiddin Erel Amphis between 9-12 May 2018.
Within the program; Medical education accreditation and program evaluation, Medical Specialization Exam (TUS), english medical education and medical master and PhD education were discussed.
Dr. Charles Boelen, who specialized in public health, epidemiology, health system management and education of health professionals and who has been the president of World Health Organization (WHO) between 1972-2001, made the opening speech on "The future of medical schools: becoming socially accountable".
Prof. Dr. Nahide Gökçora was invited Dr. Boelen to make the opening speech of 2018-2019 Academic Year in Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty.
