EMU Hosting Important Guests

Marmara University Medicine Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ömer Günal and Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Ümit Şehirli paid a visit to Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam on 13 November 2014. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Osam expressed his pleasure in working in collaboration with Marmara University and provided detailed information about Eastern Mediterranean University. EMU Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nahide Gökçora, who was also present in the meeting, presented detailed information about the aforesaid faculty.

On the same day, Iraq-based Ster Group Company chair Dr. Hallow Altalabani paid a courtesy visit to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam and exchanged information on the education and student related collaboration possibilities between the two countries. Expressing his pleasure in hosting Dr. Altalabani, Prof. Dr. Osam provided information about the university. Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sözen and Vice Rector for Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca were also present in the meeting.

At the end of the aforesaid visits, Prof. Dr. Osam presented Lefkara lace handicrafts to the visitors.
