TÖMER Turkish Proficiency Exam

Dear International Students,

In line with the decisions taken during the accreditation process, this semester's TÖMER Turkish Proficiency Exam is open to the voluntary participation of our 1st- and 2nd-year international students who feel ready to take it.

Exam Date: 31 July 2025
Exam Fee: Covered by the school for this semester only, and only once.
Validity Period: The exam result is valid for 2 years. After this period, the exam must be retaken.

Important Information:

• Students who pass the exam will not be required to take Turkish classes in the following semester; instead, they may choose an elective course.
• Students who do not pass the exam will be required to attend compulsory Turkish classes in the following semester and will be responsible for covering the fee for the next exam themselves.
• Once the exam is passed, there is no need to retake it until the validity period (2 years) expires. However, once this period ends, the student is obliged to retake the exam.
• The school will cover the fee for only one exam attempt. If a student needs to take the exam a second time for any reason, they will be responsible for paying the fee themselves.

Students who wish to take the exam must contact Turkish language instructor Mine Özerinç as soon as possible.
