On the 1st of December, 2015, a small-scale workshop for the students of Dr. Fazil Küçük Faculty of Medicine on HIV/AIDS was held in the Faculty Conference Room. The workshop was co-organized by Dr. Fazil Küçük Faculty of Medicine and Envision Diversity, a non-governmental organization that operates to eliminate all sort of discrimination against minorities and disadvantaged groups. Our main motivation with this workshop was to ensure that our students, as the doctors of the future, were aware of and ready to discuss facts and figures on the global HIV/AIDS pandemic. The workshop was successfully performed, thanks to the strong involvement and enthusiasm of participants.
