As stated before, the TRNC Council of Ministers, in line with the decision dated 21.06.2021 and with reference number E.S. (K-I) 801-2021, has produced a series of decisions regarding the implementation of face-to-face education model for the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester in Universities in TRNC. 

In accordance with the relevant decision, higher education students in our country, where the face-to-face (with social distancing) education model will be implemented, must be physically present in the TRNC during the Fall semester and complete their student immigration procedures, accordingly. 

In this context, during the diploma approval procedures to be carried out at Ministry of National Education and Culture, graduates of the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester as required submit the relevant diploma, transcript and similar documents as well as the students' current immigration document/s and entry – exit documents to the island. 

Starting from February 2022, stuents' (excluding TRNC students) current immigration permits and enrty – exit documents should be attached to the documents required in diploma approval process.  

In line with the information provided above, the approval process of the diplomas that are not presented with the current immigration permit and entry and exit documents to the island will not be carried out.
