EMU Academic Staff Member Invited to Speak at Conference in South Cyprus

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biological Sciences academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Tüzmen recently attended the 7th PanCyprian Thalassaemia conference that took place at the “ Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics” in South Cyprus, upon invitation to give a speech.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tüzmen held a seminar titled “Potential Therapeutic Modalities in Beta-Thalassemia”, organized with the support of the PanCyprian Thalassaemia Association. During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tüzmen provided information his academic work relating to finding a cure for Beta-Thalassemia.
